About ClaimASlot
ClaimASlot is a small, independent project from the Netherlands. It does one thing: help people organize who brings what, who helps when, and who comes at which time, without making anyone create an account.
Why we built it
Most of us have been there. The school asks for volunteers, the team needs snacks every Saturday, or friends are planning a potluck. Someone makes a sign-up sheet, and suddenly everyone has to download an app, create an account, click away pop-ups and scroll past ads before they can type their name.
We thought that should be easier. A sign-up sheet should open instantly from a group chat, work on any phone, and take ten seconds to fill in. So that's what we made.
What we stand for
- No accounts. Not for organizers and not for the people signing up. You get a private link instead.
- Privacy first. We only store what you type into a sheet. Sheets are hidden from search engines and deleted automatically after your event. We never sell data.
- Free for everyone. Unlimited sheets, slots and sign-ups. A few small, clearly marked ads pay for the upkeep of the site. No pop-ups, and nothing between you and your sheet.
- Simple on purpose. Every feature has to earn its place. If it makes signing up slower, it doesn't go in.
Who uses ClaimASlot
Parents organizing class snacks, coaches planning team snacks, schools and clubs looking for volunteers, friends planning potlucks, neighbors running meal trains, and teachers scheduling parent-teacher conferences. If a group needs to divide something up, a sign-up sheet probably helps.
